Guardian Hope Living Centre is a Non Profit Company (NPC) based in Cape Town, South Africa.
It is a co-operation between South Africa and Sweden, and on the board we have members from both countries.
Our vision:
- Offer care to the elderly in order that they may maintain well-being and participation in daily life. Provide permanent accommodation, respite care, home base care and program for day guests.
- Extend a support program to family carers and next of kin so they can manage their responsibility as carers in a sustainable manner.
- Present safe work environment for staff with opportunities to be trained, educated and equipped for a work career as well as for life.
What is unique for Guardian Hope Living Centre is that we present opportunities to enhance the collaboration between the elderly, the informal carers and the staff. By doing so we meet needs in all three areas and create synergies.
Guardian Hope is built on a Biblical foundation and based on Christian principles that ties into our core values.

1 Peter 4:8-11:
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God´s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen
